I offer high-quality remote recording sessions from my professional home studio, delivering polished, edited and ready-to-use tracks tailored to your project.

Whether you need a single part or layered arrangements, I provide flexible, efficient collaboration with clear communication and fast turnaround—no matter where you are in the world. Recording from my studio saves you time and studio costs, while giving you access to my full range of instruments.

The remote recording process.

1. Initial Contact & Project Details

Every project starts with a conversation. We’ll find a time to hop on the phone or Zoom so you can share an overview of your project. We’ll start with your vision, any reference tracks you’d like me to use for inspiration, exploration of instrumentation, and any other creative direction or notes you’d like to offer.

2. Quote, Contract & Scheduling

Based on the scope discussed, I’ll provide a quote and timeline. Rates are based on hourly work and include preparation or composition time, recording, editing, and delivery. A contingency for revisions is also quoted but only applies if revisions are requested. A work-for-hire contract is then provided, outlining the estimate, a cost cap (which will not be exceeded), and a delivery date. If needed, I’m happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement to ensure confidentiality prior to release. A non-refundable payment of 50 percent of the base quote (minus the revision contingency) is required to start work. The remaining 50 percent is due upon approval of the final project.

3. Initial File Delivery

Getting started is easy! Here’s the in’s and out’s of what I need for a successful session:

  • A rough mix or demo (WAV or MP3).

  • If your mix has scratch tracks for string parts that you would like me to use as guides, please also send those as isolated tracks and not in the main mix (ideal, but not required)

  • An isolated click track (ideal, but not required)

  • Any written music, chord charts, or reference tracks (optional, but not required)

  • Sample rate your song is being recorded/mixed in

4. Recording & Editing

I record all parts in my studio using high-quality, professional equipment. Depending on the needs of the project, this may involve capturing multiple takes, layering instrumental elements, and experimenting with textures or tones. I then carefully select and compile the best performances to create a clean and seamless final tracks that can be imported directly into your overall mix.

5. Delivery & Approval

Once recording and editing are complete, I’ll upload the finalized files to a secure cloud folder for your review. Depending on the scope of the project, this may include a full Pro Tools session, individual stem exports, or consolidated final tracks.

You’ll receive an email containing:

  • Download links to all files

  • A clear breakdown of included materials (e.g. playlists, stems, alternate versions)

  • A summary of the current budget status

  • A deadline—typically one week—to submit any revision requests or to provide final approval

Following final approval, your project files will remain available in the cloud for 30 days. A reminder will be sent prior to deletion to ensure you’ve had the chance to download everything you need.
