Who We Are

Glass Heart String Choir is an ongoing collaboration between Katie Mosehauer and songwriter Ian Williams, creating cinematic art-pop that lives at the intersection of chamber music, indie folk, and experimental production.

Rooted in Ian's poetic songwriting and Katie's expansive orchestral arrangements, the project combines intimate storytelling with richly layered strings, analog textures, and immersive sound design. Each song is built as a world unto itself—equal parts chamber ensemble, film score, and art song—drawing listeners into landscapes of memory, longing, beauty, and transformation.

Glass Heart String Choir has received international recognition for its songwriting, orchestration, and production, including:

  • Top 10 FinalistBest Group/Duo, International Acoustic Music Awards
